The model selector is the menu in your chat window that lets you choose which AI model answers your message. With one Pro subscription, every model in the list is included: there are no per-model charges or add-ons to buy.
Where to find it
Open a chat at chat.chatbotappai.ai and look for the model picker above the message box (or at the top of the chat). Tap or click it to see the full list of available models.
What's in the list
- Auto: lets Chatbotappai pick a suitable model for your message automatically. Good for everyday questions when you don't want to think about which model to use.
- Text models: including GPT-5.6 Sol, Claude Opus 5, Gemini 3 Pro, Grok 4.6, DeepSeek V4.1, and more.
- Image models: including Flux, GPT Image, and Nano Banana, for generating and editing images.
- 60+ additional models covering a range of strengths and styles.
All of these are unlocked by a single Pro subscription. Free accounts get limited daily use rather than access to every model.
How to choose a model
- Start a new chat, or open an existing one.
- Click the model selector.
- Pick a specific model if you want a particular model's style or strengths, or select Auto to let Chatbotappai choose for you.
- Send your message as usual.
Switching models mid-conversation
You don't need to start a new chat to try a different model. Open the model selector at any point in an existing conversation, choose a different model, and continue. Your thread stays intact, so earlier messages remain visible and the new model can pick up the context.
Comparing answers across models
If you want to see how different models respond to the same prompt, you can compare answers across models directly in the app rather than switching back and forth manually.
A few things to know
- All models, image generation and editing, and live web search are included in every Pro plan (the 7-day trial, the monthly plan, the 3-month plan, and the 6-month plan). There's no separate charge for using a "premium" model.
- If you're on the Free plan, your daily usage is limited. Upgrading to Pro removes that model-access limitation.
