Deleting your Chatbotappai account is permanent. This article explains exactly what happens to your data, when it happens, and what your options are before you delete.
What gets deleted
When you delete your account, we permanently and irreversibly remove the data associated with it, including:
- Your profile information (name, email address, password)
- Your conversations and chat history across all devices
- Any files or documents you uploaded for chat
- Your billing and subscription records tied to that account
Once this process completes, there is no way for us or you to recover this information. We recommend saving anything you want to keep, such as important chat answers, before you proceed.
What this does not do
Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active subscription in progress. If you have a paid plan, cancel it first in Settings > Billing so you are not charged again, then delete your account. If you're not sure whether your subscription is still active, contact support before deleting.
How to delete your account
- Go to Settings in the app.
- Open the account or profile section.
- Choose the option to delete your account.
- Confirm the deletion when prompted.
Once confirmed, this action cannot be undone.
Timing
Deletion is permanent as soon as it's processed. Your conversations, files, and profile data are removed and cannot be restored afterward, so make sure you're ready before you confirm.
Requesting a copy of your data
If you'd like a copy of your data before deleting your account, or you want to make a formal deletion request outside the app, contact our support team and we'll help you with that.
How we handle your data otherwise
Your conversations are encrypted both in transit and at rest, and they are never used to train any AI models. For full details on how we collect, use, and protect your data, see our Privacy Policy.
