Chatbotappai lets you upload documents and ask questions about them right inside your chat, so you can summarize, analyze, or search a file without switching tools.
How to chat with a document
- Open or start a chat at chat.chatbotappai.ai.
- Use the attachment or upload option in the chat box to add your file.
- Once the file finishes uploading, type your question, for example "Summarize this contract" or "What does the Q3 revenue table show?"
- Continue the conversation as usual. You can ask follow-up questions, request comparisons, or ask the model to pull specific details from the document.

- Several other common formats are also supported
Choosing a model
You can pick which model reads your document using the model picker, or leave it on Auto and let the app choose. You can also switch to a different model mid-conversation and keep the same thread, which is useful if you want a second opinion on the same document.
Usage and limits
Document chat is part of your Pro subscription, along with multi-model chat, image generation, and live web search. There are no per-model or per-document charges. If you reach your usage limit, you can buy extra usage credits from a shared wallet (used for both text and images) at a flat rate of $1 for 2,000 credits, with larger packs available. Free and trial members are not able to purchase credit packs.
Privacy
Documents and conversations are encrypted in transit and at rest, and are never used to train any models. If you'd like a copy of your data or want it formally deleted, contact our support team. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
