Chatbotappai lets you generate images from a text prompt and keep editing them with simple follow-up messages, right inside your chat. Here's how it works.
How to generate an image
- Start a new chat or open an existing one.
- Open the model picker and choose an image model, such as Flux, GPT Image, or Nano Banana.
- Type a description of the image you want and send it.
- Your image appears in the chat thread like any other reply.
You can also set the model picker to Auto and let Chatbotappai choose a suitable model for your request.
How to edit an image with follow-ups
Once an image has been generated, you don't need to start over to change it. Just reply in the same thread with what you'd like to adjust, for example "make the background blue" or "add sunglasses to the character." This is sometimes called image-to-image (img2img) editing, and it uses your original image as the starting point for the new version.
- Keep refining with as many follow-up messages as you like.
- You can switch to a different model mid-conversation if you want to try another style, while staying in the same thread.
Which models can generate images
Chatbotappai supports several image models, including Flux, GPT Image, and Nano Banana, alongside 60+ other models for text and images. One Pro subscription unlocks all of them: there are no per-model charges.
Image generation and editing draw from the same usage allowance as your text chats. If you're on Pro and reach your usage limit, you can buy one-time credit packs to keep going:
- $25 for 50,000 credits
- $50 for 100,000 credits
- $75 for 150,000 credits
- $100 for 200,000 credits
That works out to a flat rate of $1 for every 2,000 credits. Credits top up a single shared wallet used for both text and image activity, so there's nothing separate to manage. Credit packs are available to Pro members only: Free and trial users cannot purchase them.
You can check your current usage anytime in Settings > Usage.
