If you no longer want to use Chatbotappai, you can permanently delete your account from Settings. This article walks you through the steps and explains exactly what happens to your data and your subscription when you do.
Before you delete your account
Deleting your account does not automatically stop billing. If you have an active Pro subscription, cancel it first so you are not charged again on your next renewal date.
- Go to Settings > Billing.
- Select Cancel subscription.
- Confirm the cancellation. You will keep Pro access until the end of the period you already paid for.
How to delete your account
- Sign in and go to Settings.
- Open the Account section.
- Select Delete account.
- Confirm the deletion when prompted.
What happens when you delete your account
- Deletion is permanent and irreversible. Once confirmed, your account and its associated data are removed for good.
- There is no reactivation window for a deleted account. This is different from pausing a subscription, which can be reactivated later while your account still exists. Once an account is deleted, it cannot be restored, and a new account cannot be linked to your previous chats or data.
- Any remaining subscription time or unused credit balance is not preserved after deletion.
