Yes. Chatbotappai subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period, whether you're on the monthly, 3-month, or 6-month option. Here's what that means and how to turn off auto-renew if you'd rather not continue.
How auto-renewal works
- Your Pro plan charges again automatically when your current period ends, using the same payment method on file.
- This applies to all Pro options: the 7-day $1.99 trial (which then continues at $29.99 per month), the $49.99 every-3-months plan, and the $89.99 every-6-months plan.
- The charge on your bank or card statement will show a name related to Alvin AI Studio or Chatbotappai. Alvin AI Studio LLC is our merchant of record and handles billing and refunds, together with our payment provider.
How to stop a renewal
If you don't want your subscription to renew, you'll need to cancel before the next billing date:
- Go to Settings > Billing.
- Select Cancel subscription.
- Confirm the cancellation.
After canceling, you keep full Pro access until the end of the period you already paid for. Your plan will not renew or charge again after that.
Changed your mind?
If your subscription hasn't ended yet, you can reactivate it from Settings > Billing to keep your current plan going without interruption.
A few things to know
- Your billing date is set when you first subscribe and can't be changed afterward.
- There's no in-app option to switch directly between paid plans. To move to a different plan, cancel your current one and resubscribe, or contact support for help.
- Since this is a digital service you can use right away, payments are generally non-refundable once a renewal goes through, though we may offer a refund or credit at our discretion in certain cases (for example, a charge made in error or a duplicate charge). Statutory consumer rights are always preserved. See our full Refund Policy for details.
