Your billing frequency depends on which Pro option you chose when you subscribed. Here's how each one works.
Billing frequency by plan
- Free plan: no charge. You get limited daily use at no cost.
- 7-day trial: $1.99 for the first 7 days, then it automatically continues at $29.99 per month unless you cancel before the trial ends.
- Monthly Pro: $29.99 charged every month.
- 3-month Pro: $49.99 charged every 3 months.
- 6-month Pro: $89.99 charged every 6 months.
All three Pro options unlock the same features: every AI model, image generation and editing, live web search, and document chat. There are no extra per-model charges.
How renewal works
- Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly, every 3 months, or every 6 months, depending on your plan).
- Your billing date is set at the moment you subscribe and follows the cycle of the plan you chose. It cannot be changed freely afterward.
- If you cancel, you keep Pro access until the end of the period you already paid for. You won't be charged again after that.
You can check your next billing date and payment history anytime under Settings > Billing.
What shows up on your statement
Charges are billed by our merchant of record, Alvin AI Studio LLC. You'll see a charge on your card or bank statement under a name related to Alvin AI Studio or Chatbotappai.
Switching billing frequency
There's currently no in-app option to instantly switch between billing frequencies (for example, moving from monthly to every 6 months). To change your plan, cancel your current subscription, let it run out, and resubscribe to the option you want, or contact our support team for help.
