If you spot a charge on your card or bank statement and aren't sure where it's from, this article explains how Chatbotappai purchases appear and how to match them to your subscription.
Why the charge might not say "Chatbotappai"
Chatbotappai subscriptions are sold and billed by our merchant of record, Alvin AI Studio LLC (New York). The underlying technical service is provided by Natives AI Yazilim A.S. (Istanbul, Turkiye). Because of this, your statement may show a descriptor referencing Alvin AI Studio rather than "Chatbotappai," or a combination of both. This is normal and expected for a legitimate Chatbotappai payment.
How to confirm the charge is yours
- Sign in to the app at chat.chatbotappai.ai.
- Go to Settings > Billing.
- Check your current plan, price, and next billing date against the charge on your statement.
- Open your invoice history in the same section to compare the exact amount and date.
Matching the amount to a plan or purchase
Chatbotappai charges are always one of the following amounts:
- $1.99: 7-day Pro trial (converts automatically to the monthly plan unless canceled).
- $29.99: Pro, billed monthly.
- $49.99: Pro, billed every 3 months.
- $89.99: Pro, billed every 6 months.
- $25, $50, $75, or $100: a one-time extra usage credit pack, purchased by an existing Pro member who reached their usage limit.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period, so a recurring charge at one of the monthly, quarterly, or 6-month amounts above is most likely a normal renewal rather than an unauthorized charge.
If you still don't recognize the charge
If the amount, date, or descriptor doesn't match anything in your Billing section, don't attempt to dispute it with your bank first. Contact our support team so we can look up the transaction and explain it, or process a correction if something went wrong. Our refund policy is available at chatbotappai.ai/refund.
