If your card is about to expire or you just want to switch to a different one, you can update the payment method on your Chatbotappai subscription in a couple of minutes. Here's how.
Update your card on file
- Sign in to your account at chat.chatbotappai.ai.
- Go to Settings > Billing.
- Find your current payment method and select the option to update or change it.
- Enter your new card details and save. Your new card becomes the default payment method for future renewals immediately.
Your subscription is sold and billed by our merchant of record, Alvin AI Studio LLC, so the payment step may take place in a secure billing screen managed by them or our payment provider. This is expected and keeps your card details protected.
When the new card is used
- Your next automatic renewal will charge the new card on file.
- Updating your payment method does not change your renewal date or billing amount.
- If you're on a trial, your new card will be used when the trial converts to a full Pro subscription.
If your card was declined
If a renewal charge failed, update your payment method as soon as possible using the steps above to avoid losing access to Pro features. Once the new card is saved, you can retry the payment from the same Settings > Billing screen if a retry option is shown.
Good to know
- Charges on your bank or card statement may appear under a name related to Alvin AI Studio or Chatbotappai.
- You cannot change your billing date. It's set when you first subscribe.
- Updating your payment method does not cancel, pause, or otherwise change your current plan.
